Wear modest clothing and wear a top that as a minimum covers your shoulders
- Do wear a scarf or sarong before entering a temple

Sarongs can be rented or are included in the ticket price at the temples. Of course you can bring your own.
- Take off your shoes or sandals before entering a temple or somebodies home.

Leave your flip-flops or shoes among the other left behind shoes that you are likely to find near the entrance of any temple or house.
- Don’t enter a temple or other sacred place if you are bleeding.
